The profile of the teeth is designed with Ultra-Drive geometry which facilitates the passage of the chain on the sprockets and makes shifting precise, fast and silent. Available from this year, the 11-25 combination is ideal if combined with CT -type cranksets. Heat treated cogs are carefully machined from nickel chrome steel. All of these cogs have a hardened chrome, satin silver finish for longer wear. Each cog has an indented ramp, called Ultra Drive (UD), to assist in up shifting. Tooth profiles are also custom configured to help with down shifting.
